Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival to Moscow. Met at airport, or train station and transferred to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
 Moscow weather facts.

Day 2:
Breakfast at hotel. Panoramic city sightseeing tour. Evening at leisure.

Day 3:
Breakfast at hotel. Kremlin grounds tour with assumption Cathedral entrance. Walking tour on Stary Arbat.
Lunch at restaurant "Vanilla Sky" with Russian cuisine. Metro tour.

Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel. Full day Sergiev Posad tour. Visiting Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra, Monasteries and museums. Lunch at a restaurant near the Monastery.
Evening entertainment at Moscow Circus or Cat Theatre.
Night train to St. Petersburg (2 berth compartments - 1st class). St Petersburg weather facts.

Day 5:
Breakfast  train. Arrival to St. Petersburg. Transfer to hotel. Panoramic city sightseeing tour including visit to St. Isaac Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress. Cruise on Neva River and canal network.

Day 6:
Breakfast at hotel.
Hermitage tour. Afternoon Free time.

Day 7:
Breakfast at hotel. Full day Pushkin tour – Ekaterina Palace (inc Amber Room) and parks. Lunch at local restaurant.

Day 8:
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport or railway station.

Booking Conditions:

This is an 'any day - either city to start' programme.
We require a completed booking form and deposit of US$300 (AU$440) per person to activate a reservation.
Should one of the above hotels not be available an alternative will be offered. If this is not satisfactory a full refund of the deposit will be made. In most cases availability should not be an issue, but last minute and during the 'white nights' summer period of St Petersburg, can be problem.
