This theatre was established in 1935 and is famous for its comedies, the unique
ideas of its producers, and the exquisite scenery. Actors of both the lyrical and comedy genres such as, E.
Younger, L. Sukharevskaya, B. Tenin, E. Garin, I. Zarubina, N. Trofimov, S.
Filippov, and V. Svetin have made the theatre famous through their acting. The
architect G. Baranovsky built the theatre as a part of "The Eliseyev Brothers
Partnership" shopping centre.
