After breakfast you will be taken on a three hour orientation tour of Yaroslavl. After lunch drive to Kostroma (80km) where you will be given a three hour orientation tour. Overnight Kostroma.

Morning free to explore Kostroma before departing for Suzdal (150 km). Upon arrival you will check into your accommodation. Overnight Suzdal.
Suzdal has a visual appearance that many of us perceive we will see in all Russian towns or cities; scenes made real in our minds by books, television and the movies. Within the small precincts of the town, you can see some of the best examples of monastic and village architecture possible. There is a fine ‘folk village’ museum where examples of old Russian architecture are on display in an open air museum. Here amongst many wonderful sites you can approach the white walls of an ancient, but still practicing, Orthodox convent and pass through its gates.

Morning tour of Suzdal and Vladimir, one of the early capitals of old Russia. Here you will see such famous sights as the ‘Golden Gate’. As the day’s sightseeing concludes it is time to farewell the Golden Ring and drive back to Moscow.
