Melbourne's Extensive Bike Path Network

How's this for a commuter route?  Cycle owning residents of some suburbs can commute to the CBD via this pleasurable bike path. In fact you can travel all over Melbourne by bike.

The picture shows Brent (from the office) exploring the bikes paths with his nephew James (blue) and son Daniel. Brent lives 47km out of the centre on some hills surrounded by National Park. From his road they can head down forest tracks that link with a bike route eventually leading all the way to the spot shown in the photograph. For those with further energy you can keep going around the harbour and to the Western suburb of Williamstown. Brilliant ride!
