| The African
Tribes are as varied as the continent itself. From the Berbers and Arabs of the Atlas
Mountains in Morocco, to the Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, the African
Tribes exhibit a rich, diverse and colourful history.
An adventure safari style expedition is an ideal way in which to experience the cultural
diversity of the African Tribes. We have many trips that offer unique opportunities to
see, at first hand, the daily lives of many of the most well known African Tribes.
Our
east Africa expeditions include travelling
through the Rift Valley and meeting the fabled African Tribes of the Masai warriors. In
West Africa you can trek to the Dogan villages, experience the nomadic life and markets of the Tuaregs, and
then move on to Equatorial Africa to visit the hidden Pygmy people.
Finally, Morocco, High Atlas
and Oases crosses the high Atlas Mountains of North Africa and offers a
fascinating insight into the lives of the Berbers, the most northerly of the African
Tribes.
