Film/Slide/Discussion Nights and More

In this digital age do we still call these
evenings 'Slide Nights'??
We host a number of slide/film nights during the year. These are presented
either by staff members, or clients who have recently returned from some
adventure. Recent evenings enlightened visitors to the grueling push bike ride
Leh to Manali and then the incredible 2 month motorbike ride across Russia from
London to Vladivostok.

June 2008 with Penny Richards
Penny has a deep
interest in Bhutan. She has visited the Kingdom a number of times and
lived in the country in 2003 ,working as a volunteer for WWF. She and
her partner John led a successful tour to Bhutan in October 2005. She
knows the country and the people well and believes that Bhutan is
following the right path and is leading the world in the thoughtfulness
of its development. Bhutan and its people are very special and
welcoming. Penny looks forward to welcoming you to this very special
place! This is the country that delcared its direction was, Gross National Happiness, rather than Gross National Product!

![]() Egypt and Jordan TBA
We have been, for some years now, operating a very popular small group
tour to Egypt and Jordan. Led by our Aussie/Egyptian, Gamal who after 30
years in Australia, 20 plus of which he was a teacher, we offer a unique
trip with a tour leader who bridges the cultural gap and can find that
unexpected, slightly unusual experience missed by other group tours.

Our small group tour
lead by Lonely Planet author Patrick Horton will lead to many surprises
and sites, some of which have not been documented!

Seats are limited as most of you know so please can you email me if you can make it. Of course friends and colleagues are welcome - anyone with a pulse and a healthy bank balance. You don't have to be a fit healthy cyclist to enjoy the areas Sheena travelled through so come along and enjoy the scenery and stories. I plan to cycle Lhasa to Kathmandu in June/July of 2008 so if you know any interested persons bring them along.

Helen has been leading our small group tours to Yemen for a number of years, and more recently to Libya. Join us for an insight into these lesser known countries of the world that have so much to offer the traveller and prepare to be astonished! Join us for a slide discussion night on 11 July 2007 at 1830. Please register your intention to attend. |
