The AU$ has strengthened since 2008 and is now back at more normal levels. Not like 2007 and early 2008, but we have all learnt that those rates were unusual and unsustainable. It is intersting to note the increased strength of against the UKP. With current low airfares and the exchagnge rates drop of the UKP this year is the best in the last 10 years to visit the UK!
