Kuala Lumpur Dining

The Lemon Garden Cafe at the Shangrila Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a foodies treat!

You book a table and pay a set amount for 'all you can eat'. You then move around the open air kitchen stations where there is a choice of Indian, Chinese, Malay, Italian and DESERT!! Modern in decor, reminiscent of the 1960's you will be well feed and well impressed! Many dishes are made to order whilst you wait with plate in hand! Whilst chatting to a one of the hotel staff I was informed that some locals dine here several times a week, every week! He pointed to one such couple who live in the luxury apartment nearby.

As a concluder to your meal I suggest taking your coffee, or tea, in the main foyer of the hotel and listen to the live music, usually a good jazz combo or trio.

The Shangrila is one of 'the' hotels to stay in when visiting KL. If you stay more than one night you can try one of the other fine restaurants within the hotel. On the other hand to balance out you should also fit in a bit of street hawker food!
